Broadening prosperity in Dallas County

Our True North Goal is that by 2040 at least half of all 25- to 34-year-old residents of Dallas County, irrespective of race, will earn a living wage. We work with others to address the root causes that limit educational opportunities, removing systemic barriers where they exist to ensure that all students have the chance to succeed.

Putting students first in Texas

Our state educates 10% of the nation’s students and 1 in 8 of its economically disadvantaged children. Over 700,000 of those students are in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and higher education in Dallas County, a student enrollment greater than the total number of students in 17 different U.S. states.

Improving public education benefits our state, and success in our state benefits our nation. To reach our goal, it will take countless adults working together to advocate for systemic changes that put the needs and interests of students at the forefront.
